The design of bicycle frames is a complex procedure. The frame has to correspond with the technical specifications and the general demands at the same time. The paramount guideline at Gepida was to be able to introduce a reliable, comfortable, yet dynamic and exciting shape. At first sight, you can remember the main characteristics, the fixed static points; however, having a closer look at the new frames other details will emerge. It was important for us not to solely have a kind of ‘catalogue outlook’ of the bicycle but to find it exciting as well as we go around or sit on it. Apart from the static point of views, the usage of the natural shapes came to the front in the design. Thanks to these considerations, the directions of the forces affecting the frame appear also visually on the tubes.

It is the hydro forming procedure that makes the plan able to appear the way just as we dreamt it during the development. We did not make any compromise. Concerning the shape and construction, we were searching for a certain balance that is necessary for a stylish bicycle. What we can see to appear is the dynamic line and the captivating details. What we can do according to our best abilities, is to provide a proper technology and shape for the joy of cycling.
